Looper

I wholeheartedly loved Rian Johnson’s high-school film-noir “Brick”; armed with truckloads of suspension-of-disbelief (I hate time travel stories – Harry Potter 3 was my least favourite) I saw Looper.

Unfortunately while there are many interesting elements, the storyline is much less epic than I expected, and ended before I wanted it to. The movie was a bit disjointed, and there were far fewer plot twists than you’d expect for something about time travel. It turns out that there are two rather than one major conceits you have to swallow.
